At Saguaro Crest Student Advocates we help families navigate the often complex world of education across public, private, and charter schools. Our focus is on making sure your child’s unique needs are understood and supported, while empowering you as a parent to feel confident and informed.
How We Support Families

-
Reviewing Records and Documents: We carefully review IEPs, 504 plans, evaluations, and other school records to help you understand your child’s current supports and identify opportunities for additional help.

-
Meeting Preparation: We guide you in preparing for meetings with teachers, counselors, and school teams. This includes drafting questions, highlighting concerns, and outlining priorities.

-
Meeting Attendance: When requested, we attend meetings with you—either in person or virtually—to advocate for your child and help keep discussions focused on meaningful supports.

-
Strategic Guidance: Using our extensive experience in education, we provide practical recommendations, clarify options, and help you set realistic goals for your child’s success.

-
Collaboration with Schools: When appropriate, we work with schools to maintain productive, respectful communication while keeping your child’s needs at the center.

Our Approach

Every child and family is unique. We tailor our support to your goals, comfort level, and timeline. Some families want hands-on guidance every step of the way, while others prefer advice and support behind the scenes. Our role is to meet you where you are and make the process manageable, clear, and supportive.
